only sled i have left is set up to run on ice/grass.
it has 2" of suspension travel and requires a diet of 116 octane.
still not too expensive to fill up,it only holds 5 gallons..
1200 takes it.

Dude, if you find anything for $200, I don't think it will make for that good of a time really.

not true i bought mine for 100 and been rideing it for 4 years now. runs like a champ. its an 81 jag 440... only bad thing is it only goes about 50-60 mph..but in all honesty your not going to find anything nicer than whats been posted for cheep or cheeper.

just bought a skidoo for 300 bucks. Runs excellent. We rode it for about 20 minutes, shut it down, it fired up one pull after sitting for 20 minutes. Sweet lil ride. Track is good, and it has new skiis.

I strongly disagree with that as well. I looked at 3 sleds today all for $400 bucks and under, and they all ran fuggin excellent. I settled on the ski-doo just cuz the guy seemed honest, he told me everything he could, and it just ran excellent. Its decently clean for an 81, actually had a working speedometer, and it just sounds freakin healthy. Seems to have excellent compression when pullin it over. Finding sleds like these almost makes me never wanna look at a new one :thumbsup

Anyway, I'm sorry for lowballing you so much on your buddies sled, we just weren't lookin to spend that much. We just wanted somethin to cruise around on this weekend. If it lasts only this weekend, then so be it, as long as we had fun thats all that matters. My brother and I are both mechanically inclined and can fix it. If it lasts longer then this weekend, then thats excellent :headbang

Just wait til she burns down. Or the track blows on it.

dude theres no need to be a prick about it. if the motor burns down, ill find another sled. if the track blows, oh well. frankly im not very worried about it. its a decent sled. sorry if you ever had bad luck finding used sleds.

sorry...my bad. I didn't see what year it was. I thought it was a newer one because someone willing to sell a newer sled for that amount I would be a little concerned. Hope it works out.
