Thanks to Kyle, Tom, Jeff, and Brad we were able to get my Torquer V.3 camshaft, prc dual valve springs, pushrods, double roller timing chain, and ls4 oil pump installed. I am definitely happy with the outcome and I can't wait to get it tuned and drive it!! Here are some idle vids:

So did you get a bigger pan/oil cooler, or just add more oil?

Lol not so sure that was thought of... Well when the low oil light comes on he will just have to shut it off pretty quick and let it drain back!

I usually stuff 7-7.5 qts in mine, it would always drop oil psi on launches otherwise with only 6.5 qts.

why so much lift on the intake???

wouldnt you normally want the exhaust side to have more lift than the intake, or very close together. it looks like a pretty big difference!!! unless this is a stroker motor??? but even then i woulod think you'd want more exhaust than intake?!?!

So this pooch will have a shitload of torque on the low end and still peak HP wise near 6k. Power should come in big long easy yawns from that LS1.

I've been rediculously nice power levels w/ that cam on GTOs w/ the 243 heads. No doubt it would translate to an awesome street machine in a much lighter f-body.

430+whp is a ton, thats all.

lid/exhaust/cam/ported throttle body the car has on it. Comes with ls6 intake(2001) no underdrive pulley.

what do you think you'll make as far as hp and tq?? do you plan on dynoing it in spring/summer??? i am intrested to see what that makes for power!

with a tune should be around 380-400 to the wheels id think. Most larger cam LS1/6 cars make around 375-410 rwhp. with supporting mods of course

Definitely going to be getting it dynoed. I am really hoping to hit 400 rwhp but we'll see.
