I bought this back in 2000 and it's been good to me, but now I want to upgrade to a 60" 1080p SXRD Sony and I need the room.

4460

Great choice....UFC 67 in HD will be showing on mine. Make sure you get it for $2499 or less.

Yeah I like the SXRD for the true 1080p picture also. To get a plasma in 1080p bigger then 50 you are going to have to spend a fortune.

whats difference for that compared to a plasma?

Everyone's spot in line is duly noted. Moparjim has dibs, as he posted first. But this thread gives me a record of those who posted afterward, and in what order.

Thanks for your interest, guys!

Here's the deal, and why suddenly I decided to sell. I am on both Circuit City's and Best Buy's mailing lists. I got an email last night from CC that mentioned their latest sales and it also included a web only coupon for an extra $150 off of any TV over $1500, so I decided to investigate the set I've been eyeing up for a while, the Sony KDS60A2000 60" SXRD 1080P set. Low and behold, the web price is $2249.00 :wow Now subtract another $150. $2099 before tax. DAMN, that's looking mighty hard to pass up... Tax for Racine county is $114.75 so my total would be $2213.75 :thumbsup I needed a stand as well, but I have no idea what I want so I decided to brave the cold and chase up to CC Southridge to take a gander at what they had in stock. I also decided to see if the store would match the web price . They did, and I ended up with not only the TV but a Sony stand as well for a total of $2550. :wooo Not bad. So, I'm passing my good fortune on to the buyer of my Mits.

Will do, but I have to get the old set-up sold to make room for the new one. Once I have a solid commitment I give CC the go-ahead to deliver the new boob-tube. Speaking of boobs, they ought to look mighty nice on this hyar new tv. MMMMM, 60" of high-def Jenna Jameson :licky

better get on that sale soon for the online stuff. my dad just went through a huge ordeal trying to buy a new tv. he wanted a certain one, but wanted to make sure it'd fit an area. so he got home from work, and measured, and by the time he went to order online witht hat same coupon, the tv price had jumped 400 dollars. so he got pissed, and just waited to see what the other tv he wanted was priced at, and then that jumped $200. he finally timed it riht to get the one he wanted after it went back down a little less than what it had jumped up, and then used the coupon. but he got it through circuity city out of principle because best buy was the one who jumped it up to begin with and wouldn't honor the morning price when he called.
