So far Travis Lutter didn't make weight....so it'll be a non-title fight. He was 2 lbs. over and was told he had 2 hours to lose it. He came back still 1 lb. over.

Dana just made the fights to milk as much as he can. There should be some good matchups in the near future though
(UFC 69 & 70).

Jackson by K.O. in the 2nd.

Not a bad fight...Eastman looked horribly tired though. He was wobbly most of the second round...probably partially due to almost being K.O.'d in the 1st.

Yeah...Quintin is a pretty cool guy. He's not a cocky hard ass like some of them.

And on a side note...WTF was with that last fight. He got kneed in the should and flops down like a girl. What a pussbag.

Was it just me...or did Mirko not seem happy to be fighting in the UFC? Maybe he's just need to get a few more fights in.

Cro Cop won in the first....ref stopage punches on the ground

Quintin Jackson wins by K.O. in the 2nd

all too easy...NOW I begin the countdown to see Franklin and Hughes start their comeback fights. I cant wait to see GSP fight already dammit. I wanna know if he has what it takes to hold that belt for as long as Matt had it.

Give it some time. There will be a Chuck/Quintin remach within the next year. I also give it 2 fights at the max before Mirko fights for the title.
It was crazy seeing how calm Mirko was though. He really took his time...not rushed or excited the least bit. He did take one or two good shots though.

My prediction is that he'll beat Sylvia for the title. Then he'll have to defend it against AA. Dana wont have him fight AA before he gets the belt.

It will be interesting seeing GSP defend it against Cerra.

Also..Franklins opponent is still TBD...but I have an idea of who it migh be ;)

I hope none of you payed for the HD. I did and it didn't work. Time warner said no ones in the area worked. They refunded the 49 and gave me $10 off the reg def version. Still bogus that I missed the first 20 mins.

When Mirko was on the ground pounding away, I dont think he could have been anymore calm moving sanchez's arms around as he dropped fists..



I keep sayin it, Mirko WILL hold the title soon :)

His 3rd or 4th fight in the UFC will be a title shot. He will probably hold that belt for a looooong time too.
