Now that that is out of the way, let's go after Moss. :)

They need him with next years schedule. We play the AFC West (Denver, San Diego, KC and Oakland) and the NFC East.

Finally we get Philly at home though.

But without Brett, and with that schedule the team would be lucky to win 2 games.

Not a bad idea, but after the past few seasons he had. His attitude has clamed way down but he hasn't done too much either. Not since he was with the Vikings, him and Culpepper were the terrible twosome!

True, but what I think is that after his two bad seasons he's not going to cost an insane amount of coin to get here, and, he's a name that defenses cannot and will not ignore. That in turn leaves driver and the #3 WR less covered than before. And if driver proved anything it was that he can catch in double coverage over the middle. Just think of if they were now doubling moss on the outside. I think most will agree that, though moss didn't do as well as in MN, he also had sheer junk throwing the ball to him as well. I think you look at him short term and see how much he costs.

This is great news. I'm a big #4 fan.

I'd be OK with Moss as a Packer....

Excellent points man, I like the way of your thinking. Now only if the Packers would think like that and get some shit togther. I wonder who they will end up getting in the draft? All in all I think Mcarthy did a good job with the team he was handed. After all he did get them to .500, he isn't that bad of a coach. Lets wait and see what he can do this comming season.

Moss will never come here. We had our opportunity to grab a top gun in Deion Branch. Who did Ted Thompson pick up instead? A drunk serving jail time and NFL suspension time. Hell, Keyshuan Johnson was a better pic, passed on him too.

We need a bonafied running back, (Thomas Jones from Chi would be great), maybe Michael Turner from S.D. An actual q.b to replace Favre, cuz Rodgers isnt it, or Martin.

Moss may have cleaned up his T.O style attitude but he is a fukin quiter, even before the half way mark in the season he quit.

I'd like to see him here, but not for the price tag he will command, and not if he is going to be a cancer...After all, fans own the Packers org...

My 2 cents...Go Pack

He doesn't command anything anymore due to his suckage.

To quote one of the announcers:
"You couldn't get a pack of gum for him these days"

He's not even considered a star receiver anymore.

All this because he went with the Raiders, he definitely could see a revival with a good QB.
I'd pick him up cheap too if I were the Pack.

the raiders want a 4th round pick for Moss right now. thats it. only problem i see, is he was so good using ONLY his physical talent. running, jumping. he's in what, his 8th season now? not the same physical player, and unlike other recievers who got better along the way, he doesn't study film, he doesn't work on routes, and doesn't practice a lot. i think the best of Moss is behind him.

Moss is a star receiver, he just gave up cuz his team is in disaray. Moss will not be traded for a 4th round pic any more than Tomlinson would be traded for the gatorade guy.

He is an impact player that has had shit q.b's trying to get him the ball. Culpepper and Moss hooked up because they had chemistry. You're telling me Andrew Walters and Aaron Brooks are comparable to Culpepper?:rolf :rolf

If T.O can make millions on a walk-on contract, Moss can and will do the same.

My 2cents...I love the sport, and enjoy debating it :) (in a good way):goof

Moss ain't anywhere near the player he used to be. People think that players will be different whne they are on their team. Ask Philly and Dallas how much of a great thing having TO was. Those team's fans thought TO would change. Green Bay needs a player, not a prima donna.

But I am willing to trade Fergie to any team for a roll of athetlic tape.
