Saturday...

UFC 67

Quinton Jackson vs. Marvin Eastman
Mirko Cro Cop vs. Eddie Sanchez
Anderson Silva vs. Travis Lutter

I'm ****ing PUMPED!!!!

I'm loving all the Pride guys coming over to the UFC. I love some of the fighters that Pride has...but I dont really like their set-up and some of their rules. The more that come over...the more exciting fights there will be!!!

And dont forget that on March 3rd..UFC 68...a Championship fight that I really dont think should happen...

Tim Sylvia vs. Randy Couture
I think Randy has lost his mind. Rich Franklin will also be making a return.

You watch Couture will whip Sylvia's ass and become champion. Dana put that fight together to get Sylvia out of there because all of his fights are too boring. Randy will tear his ass up!

Sylvia will win and keep the title.

What about Wanderlei coming to Las Vegas? Should be a good match (but you can never pick against Silva).

I dunno about that. Sylvia may not be a great ground fighter...but he got a BIG weight advantage which is probably gonna make it difficult to take him down. Either way...expect another boring ass fight. Besides..is just a matter of time before Mirko gets his shot...so there will be a new champ soon.

I cant wait for 68 to see the comebacks and Slyvia keep his title! I dont think Randy has any gas left to take on Sylvia. Randy has gotten pounded fighting big guys, lets not forget Tim has some good take down defense. He may not be a thriller but he gets the job done. Munson was a submission "specialist" yet could never keep Tim down even with all that sauce strength.

This one coming up just seems exciting to see the new blood but they are all fighting easy wins imo..

Quinton Jackson > Marvin Eastman
Mirko Cro Cop >(bigtime) Eddie Sanchez
Anderson Silva >(this is a joke)Travis Lutter

I predict all wins within the 1st round.

I have to agree with Mirko taking the title first and I have this feeling that after the dust settles with GSP he will lose that title within 2 fights. I think he will be too rusty.

That was superghey of you to say. You either enjoy spending time with your girl and you dont feel you missed anything or she has your balls in a vice and you are NOT ALLOWED to watch it. Dont make excuses. Your motor parts have NOTHING to do with this thread:chair: :chair: :goof :loser :alcoholic

I will agree UFC 67 should be one of the most exciting sets of bouts to come along... They have been doing much better with thier match-ups in the last 3-4 events... Before that there were a few that really made me question why I paid for the PPV...

One thing about this UFC, they are finally going to show it in HD... But for a farkin $10 premium!!! WTF?!?!? :fire

Now comes the dilemma, order it in HD and pay the extra $10, thus proving to them HD is wanted, but justifying the price increase, or hold out and order the SD version but still assault them with e-mails requesting HD but at regular transmission price... :confused :(

Also, in case some haven't heard, there is another fight venue coming up, called Elite Xtreme Combat... It is being covered by Showtime, with a set of fights scheduled for Feb 10th at 9pm CST with the following matchups:

Frank Shamrock vs Renzo Gracie
Wesly "Cabbage" Carrera vs Antonio Silva
Joey Villasenor vs Dave Loiseau
Charles Bennett vs KJ Noons
Julie Kedzie vs Gina Carano (<- Female bout)
Bo Cantrell vs Tim Persey
Seth Klienbeck vs Riki Fukuda
Adriano Pereira vs Javier Vazquez
Mike Pyle vs Ross Ebanez
John Shacklford vs Edson Berto

Nice thing about it is, if you sub to Showtime you won't have to pay for it, and on top of it, it will be shown in HD on 510... WOOT!!!:thumbsup

Now I know HBO is supposed to cover like 3 events, so that is good (and they will be in HD as well I heard), but why the hell has none of the premium channels picked up Pride or the other smaller venues???

I know HDNET has started carrying some highlight bouts and even full events from the smaller venues, but they seem inconsistent in the coverage...

it would be nice to see Frank Shamrock fight but I got a feeling most of those fighters will eventually get picked up by either UFC or Pride once UFC goes to HBO.
