Help a computer idiot out please.

I just started having this problem. When I scroll up or down, the page flashes instead of scrolling smoothly. (does this make sense?) At the same time, all the text on the pages looks bigger and more pixilated (almost blochy). Any ideas?

Thanks.

Can you tell me what I need? I downloaded the first one "NVIDIA Graphics driver update" but it was not the right one.

when you look at the back of your system, where the monitor is connect ( its a blue connecter ) its it vertical or horizontal. if its vertical like this | | its onboard ( intergrated ) if its horizontal like this = its a standalone video card.

to find out, RIGHT click on my computer, click properties, hardware, device manger, display adapters, right there it will tell you WAHT you have, ATI, Nvidia, or interegrated

let me know what you have an i will get you a link to the driver you need

OR tell me the type of computer an model # you have!

Now any idea on how to make the text smaller? Everything is so damn big on my screen.

Right click on the desktop, click on properties. Click on the tab at the top right "settings". Then move the slider under "screen resolution" to 1024 by 768 and click apply. Click yes to accept changes. If you want smaller slide it further to the right and click apply again or to the left if you want bigger.
