Thank you for visiting our auction. We are excited to offer for the first and last time ever, the one and only Chicayne. Words can not describe this one off Rad Rides built supercar. Arguably the benchmark for the caliber of custom hot rods today. Named Hot rod of the year by Hot rod Magazine editors, Street Machine of the year by Popular Hot Rodding magazine, Chevy of the year by Chevy High performance and the list goes on and on. 1400HP Twin Turbo 406 ci. engine with an unbelievable amount of custom one off parts and trick pieces. Custom modified and reenginered chassis and suspension, with no stone left unturned. Every component is methodically built, smoothed, painted, polished or chromed. The car needs to be shown from underneath to believe the magnitude of craftsmanship and engineering. About the Body, Both front and rear bumpers have been flush mounted into the body. The front bumper has the top shape recreated on the bottom across the middle where the license plate area used to be, to serve as an airdam for better cooling of the A/C condenser, inner cooler, and radiator. The rear bumper has the exhaust coming through its center on both sides. It also acts as a center mounting point for a full belly pan with parallel stabilizers from the rear axle back. This is a one-piece fabricated aluminum pan, two-toned for contrast. The OEM turn signals have become the air intakes for the turbos and still serve as the turn signals. The core support modifications are steel. The radiator and air intake cover, along with the sculpted inner fenders are made out of aluminum. One-off hood hinges operated by gas shocks operate the opening and closing. All the re-chroming of the grill, bumpers, headlight bezels, and taillight trim was completed by Sherm’s Plating in California. Smoothed firewall and cowl panel complete the engine compartment which is painted . The paint is PPG Medium Cypress up top and Olive on the bottom with an interior color of sage. The frame is painted, and belly pan sprayed with a black tinted liner material and all the hardware is stainless ARP bolts. This adds up to a bullet proof, usable, yet good-looking undercarriage. The front wheels are one-off Billet Specialties Chicayne wheels (19x8) wrapped in Nitto NT555 Extreme tires (245/35ZR19) and 22x10 one-off Chicaynes wrapped in Nitto NT555 Extreme tires (285/35ZR22). Additional work done to the wheels includes hard coat anodizing the centers and the addition of 12pt bolts at each spoke. We are offering this car to the discriminating buyer who wants to own a piece of Hot Rodding history or just someone who wants to have a 1400HP car capable of driving cross country with the AC blowing cold.Though Ebay may not be the perfect venue for offering one of the finest custom built cars of all time, we believe ebay does reach the masses.
