View Full Version : Stay away from JoeUSA hosting!

My wife had an account with JoeUSA to host her website. She received an email today that her account had been suspended, so she contacted them. Their customer service was so rude, I would definitely not recommend using them to host an account. Here's the email thread, it starts at the bottom:

Im not saying he is right or anything but I see where he is coming from. It sucks when you have the best prices out there and the best deal and the customer still wants you to kiss their a$$ and jump through hoops for them.


I'm not saying thats what you wanted or anything like that but maybe thats how he feels.:confused

hence why i jsut went out and grabbed up an actual server. Much easier than dealing with bullshit. But then again, i pay 75 a month

Well, I guess I'm part of the camp that thinks that a little bit of good customer service can go a long way. A little bit of poor customer service can do a lot of damage.

Asking for a simple email, or even a small bit of information when you sign up for an account, is not asking them to "kiss my a$$ and jump through hoops."

My guess is he is a one man show and thats why his prices are so cheap. He probably has zero time for this or even time to provide customer service. He could probably hire another person but that would increase your cost. This is probably why he leaves the responsability of maintaing a valid credit card up to you because at this cost, he simply can't be the one monitoring this.

Just my 2 cents.

Most companies dont monitor it, What they have is a system that allows the customer to update the information. If the car bounces, there is an email sent saying that services will be disrupted because of said thing, please fix by going to this link.

It doesnt matter if this is a one man show or not. It should have been all automated and taken care of when he set up the network in the first place, If he is simply using another hosts server to do this then he should have thought about what will all be involved. Just because he offers it for a cheap price doesnt mean he can go about insulting customers.

Theres is zero excuse to handle a customer like that. As quickly as stuff spreads in the internet he could lose his whole business in a week, and most likely deserves to.

Even if he is a one man show, he doesnt have to respond the way he did. I didnt sense any anomocity in her emails so why the response?

Shouldn't be in business if you don't have time for your customers.
