Went to Pick'n save to get some food, while I was pulling up a corrolla was dead and a mini-van was Trying to jump it. I could totally tell they had no clue what was going on. So I walked up and dove in and took off the jumper cables droped them on the ground and said " these are junk "and said ill get my jumper pack.

Walked to my car got my Huskey ($39.99 btw) jumper pack and tossed it on the battery leads and said " Ok fire it up "

Vrooom started up instantly, these people were looking at me like

They both say " WTF is that and where the hell did you get that ? "

I said there $40 bucks and you can get them anywhere.

They were amazed and said thank you over and over, I then walked in and bought some food.

By no means am I tooting my own horn, my question is how many of you guys have a jumper pack in your trunk ?

I havent charged this pack in weeks and use it twice, and today it fired a car up in a second.

Best thing to have in the trunk hands down besides a jack :thumbsup

There only $39.99

my farm and fleet 15 dollar jumper cables do the trick for me, and they never need charging :D

Jumper cables can make or break the jumpstart. Ya really need a good pair with good connectors, then they are a pleasure to use.

I totally agree, I have a set in my trunk :thumbsup

But I hate driving my car around popping my hook and fiting with my side terminal battery posts.

I have a side terminal battery, but GM got smart and made a positive post for jumping which is a few inches away from the alternator, easy to get to, and you can just ground it on the alternator bracket.

Just watch out for the ones pretending to need help... but are actually working together and rob you blind when you come over to help them out.

the jumper packs are very nice especially when your own car dies and no one is around to help you.

We have one here at the lot. $40 and it has never failed us. It won't fire BMW's or MB though. They use a bigger battery.

I just got one of those jumper packs for Christmas. It'll come in handy in spring when I take the Z and Hurst out of storage cause I'm sure those batteries will be dead!
