Can anyone recommend a plating shop? Going to get my original valve covers redone.

I used Badger a couple years ago. They did a decent enough job but were very expensive.

Not sure if that's a recommendation.

Anyone hear of Brew City Kustom Krome? The put out a flier at the Dare car show this year. They say they are a division of Brew City Custom Choppers.

Badger just did my friends t-bucket parts last year...did a great job on everything....cost him , but they did a great job..enough to take best engine at last years WOW..........they redid his headers, side pipes, vavle covers, timeing cover, carb bowls, repolished his blower case.....i looked it over..and i think they did a great job......maybe because he paid alot more..they did a better job....

good chrome,which you will NOT find in wisconsin because of EPA, get pricey. look in california ironically enough,for good chrome.
you want hexavalent chrome,which is a multi layer process,and is the purest "white" color chrome. the chrome done around here is all "brown" color.hold the two next to each other and you will see the difference.

Called Kustom Krome today they estimated $175 for a pair of BBC original valve covers. I can pick up a pair of reproduction valve covers for a $100 and put the originals away for another day.
