I agree, and it drives me NUTS that we have two totally different measuring systems! We of course started off with 'standard' (or 'American'), which is IN-ferior to metric but seeing is how everybody is so stubborn (NOT a bad thing) we only made it through half of the coversion.....

I don't remember a time when we were supposed to switch over (I'm only 26) but since my exsistence everything has had two forms of measurment, WTF......
