IIRC, his labrum, which is a common malady in lifters...although they may have done a distal clavicle resection too. Who did the surgery Yoo?

ac joint was dmaaged. they ahd to cut bone approx 3/4" to stop from severing the tendon. i got lucky, any longer and it would have severed. the doc spent twice as long as needed because he said gthat they werent able to tell if other tendons had been affected with the mri so he phsically checked all inclduing the bicep and pec muscle. doctor Kaplan did the surgery at mount sinai. i was a bit nervous but nto alot and there was nothing to even worry about i was alseep the entire time. nurses were all NOT hot btw. 1 hour surgery took over 3.5 hours. sucks that i have no strenght at ll in my right hand. wiping my ass owns me!

a/c seperation sucks. mine is completely torn free on my left shoulder. i just rehabed the hell outta it and it is fine i have no strenght loss or pain. they wont even operate on mine because they have no perm fix. i hope you are ok and get better soon

I had shoulder surgery 12 years ago and had to through weeks of rehab. I had one of Kaplans partners do mine,Dr. Boyle.

thanks all. I was underestimating it at first but after talking with Scott(silver350) I decided to take more time off of work. I can only imagine how much worse it was for you Scotty with a complete tear ouch! And Fred, I only have a sore throat from the tra, man I feel for ya losing your voice and all. I hope YOUR recovery continues on a good path.

Vicodin is one hell of a drug..when i was in 8th grade i had my Tonsils removed and they gave me some liquid Vicodin...i went down my stairs in a laundry basket..enough said..good luck with your recovery.
