Yep forgot to mention i also need a 700R4 again the cheaper the better as it will be stripped down and built up unless you have a fully built one with reverse manual valve body and a high stall tq convertor for cheap =P

I have one that is built pretty well. It has a hardened sun shell, super servo and a stage three shift kit. It also has a 3400 rpm stall converter with lockup. Right now it slips going in to third gear. I have given up on overdrive behind the big block in my car. I have had this thing rebuilt four or five times and have come to the conclusion that I am just making too much torque for a 700 r4. How much are you looking to spend? I would fix the slipping problem before I sold it.

Thanks for the responses I found one for $60 untested. Bad Cutt how much are you looking to get for that trans? That one might be perfect to get the car on the road ricky ticky while the other is being built. If it's low enough i'd buy yours and the $60 one.

i HAVE OVER 500 IN THE CONVERTER. i WOULD TAKE 600 AS IS. iT ONLY SLIPPED WITH THE NITROUS. IT WAS FINE WHEN I WAS JUST ON MOTOR. IF YOU ARE BUYING ONE FOR 60 DOLLARS I IMAGINE I AM OUT OF YOUR PRICE RANGE.

my dad has a spare, i'm sure he could use the money selling it, came out of a low mileage (16k) '86 IROC w/ a frozen motor, so basically the trans has to be good.

$600 is a bit high right now, i'd love to buy it but this is at first going to be a budget built car just so i can have my RWD back
