New (to me) camera

My girlfriend just gave me her old camera. Its an old camera but still takes nice pictures. Its a Canon AT-1 SLR camera. Once I take some decent shots with it I will post them up. I got a huge macro lens with it too its insane how close up I can get with it. Here is a link with pics and the specs of the camera, Maybe some of you experts can chime in and give me some advice.

I still love my old camera. There great cameras to learn on, BUT I'm no expert so I'll shut-it...

An old AT-1 that sir is an oldie but built them really well. Keep it clean and taken care of and it will last many more years. The good thing about those cameras that sooooo many were produced that parts are relatively easy to scavage if something does break. If you ever need it serviced go to Arts Camera out in Pewaukee.

I think you got an excellent camera and will certainly take excellent photos. However you will need to read up on basic photography. What is an f-stop what is a shutter speed because this camera is missing some of today's conviences. You will need to know what the camera is doing and what it is telling you when you are shooting.
