The company I work for is holding a job fair tomorrow (Thursday 1/4/07) on campus here. The name of the company is Metavante and we are a division of M&I bank. You may have even heard the commerical on the radio lately.

Never the less we are looking for 50-60 inbound call center reps for a new product that we are now supporting.
It is a great company to work for and I have been employed here for just shy of 4 years.

Apply and interview in person at the job fair and you will know if you are hired before you leave. No waiting around for a phone call. Can't beat that !!

The job fair hours are 11am-3pm and then again from 6pm-8pm at 1515 Rivercenter Dr in downtown Milwaukee. Take Water St to Cherry, head west on Cherry and it is the 1st driveway after the river. Directly behind Lacke and Joys.

Those that want to take advantage of this great opprotunity I wish you luck and let me know how it goes.

They are entry level positions. Of course any previous call center experience is helpful but definately not required at all. Also as I didn't mention above, these positions are FULL TIME.

Those stopping down can drop my name if asked how you were referred.

"Hello, my name is .... Brad Keller" :D

I am not sure the details as I am not in that area in regards to salary etc. As far as I know the job fair is just for call center reps.
Although I do believe there is an opening for a supervisor for 2nd shift in that area. Have her check Metvante.com job postings for that particular position.

And traveling 60 mph it would take an entire 20 minutes to get there. Obviously you don't need a job THAT bad if you cant sacrifice 40 minutes of drive time

No, I like the fact that currently I'll have to put the GTO thru 1.2 miles to get to work when it's ready. v.s. much longer in traffic.

@ braeger It was 42 miles one way for work, and it was an hours drive

@ a former job on good hope it was 28 miles one way, but 40 minutes drive, and that was just good hope.

I know people in Chicago that have 2-3 hour drive time each way to work. Could be worse :)

It is at the same location that the job fair is at. Downtown Milwaukee right across the river from Lacke and Joys.

H&R Block along with Cingular have VISA cards as returns/rebates now so we support the customer service for those. Inbound customer support calls for activation, lost/stolen reissues etc, etc.

I have a visa rebate card from cingular. what a pain in the ass. I can see why they need a call center for the people that recieve these gems. After doing all I can to get someone to accept it, it's still worthless. Why can't they just send a check for $30 like the good o'days.
