Not sure if BCM has it or not. But a few forums I know of have the text boxes that you have to type in to prevent spam bots from registering and posting.

I moderate on Ls1gto.com. We have a spam box members can check and it reports it to us. We use Spam Decimator. It kills the thread, deletes it and bans the thread starter. Bwhahahahaha

more like a real job plus 1/2 another one.
I didnt mean to ignore the issue. I've just had other things on my plate.
I need to re-up our VB license so I can download the updates.

Understandable :)
Is this possible:
Being able to limit the abilities of new members... say if you haven't been a member for a least a week, or have less than 5 posts, you can't use any BB code, hence eliminating any chance of posting links?
Or not allow them to use 'www' or '.com' in any post. *shruggle*

There's several nice board hacks for this version VB that can pretty much eliminate spam...
You can also add a secondary registration image using a program such as this one: http://www.websitedatabases.com/captcha_image_security/captcha_image.html
