Anyone here remember the twin turbo 400 trans deal? Someone on the southside was building them a few years ago. Anyone have a link or any info on them? Thanks.

Twin T-400 = Laugh-O-Matic :thumbsup

Why Laugh-O-Matic? Well, that was a conversation Ron should remember. How about a 5ft long, 200 + lb transmission that has the efficiency level of the US government? How about 3 speeds in reverse? How about when it first came out you had to have TWO shifters? :rolf

There are better alternatives to this stupid relic. A standard T-400 with a Gear Vendors O/D, or better yet, a 4L80E come to mind.

Perhaps not but it's still lighter than the Laugh-O-Matic, and I'll wager it's a damned sight more efficient as well.

Since you and Scotty seem to dig it, I assume you will both be running one of these bad boys this year?

no i can get away with running a 3 speed.
however, maybe it is better suited to a car that needs a 5 speed and a guy who cant grab gears :rolf

It might be better suited for a can't-shift-worth-a-shit-motherfvcker like myself, but if my Cobra gets any heavier it'll just sink to the Earth's core of it's own accord.

I'm not sure what I'm doing for New Years. I've got an invite to go to Dusty's place and hang out there, and I've got one to go to a party at Aaron Eckhardt's house. I also might just stay the fvck home. I haven't a clue what I'm gonna do until I do it. That's pretty much how every New Years Eve goes with me. :confused
