well it looks like we have a king of the hill date for 1/12/07 at lucky bob's on 59th & forest home .all bracket racing 0.00 to 1.6 dial in.also i am sure there will be time for some grudge racing for $$$$$ OH YEA!!!!! so get your cars or whatever your running dialed in. will post time and more info as it becomes avaliable. everone is welcome to come watch or someone may have an extra car for you to rent or use . :banana1:

it is .599 at 97 mph you put the decimal in the wrong spot
yes that is very fast:thumbsup but for bracket it doesn't make a difference because then you have to give a hit and won't be able to catch up.

does anyone run bikes or "top fuel" type cars? When that track in Oconomowoc was around, they had a dragstrip....we made some whoopa$$ topfuel bikes and cars. the bikes handled like crap, even with the wheelie bars....but they looked cool.
Anyone from here use to race at Hank's?

hello ,i have 2 bikes but like you said they are hard too hook up, 1 has a G20 in it way to much motor. there is alot of people who used to race at hanks because lucky bobs is one of the only tracks around. from back in the day at hanks you may remember a guy called "itch". bobs has a scale 1/4 mile 55ft long as well as HO and 1/24 road course and and we run 5 drag classes on tuesday night starting at 7:30 practice is 6:30 till race time .tonight we have a bracket drag race ,king of the hill, shoul have around 10-20 people racing. if intrested stop in today2/23 or any tues . see rick and i will let you or anyone else for that matter try some cars . if coming today i can let you use a car for king of the hill.best bet is just stoping in sometime. he is located at 5822 w forest home ave. ph#414-327-4003. very nice crowd of people that race there.

no top fuel cars but a lot of street looking cars ...... ther all pretty fast though...

well this months king of the hill is over and the new KING is mike d. running himself in the finals with his rail and red corvette and he won with the rail . mike d. also won the reaction light money being the only one to get a .500 light. rick w. and dave both ran their dials and had to do a run off and rick w. won with his fire truck. we had 18 racers in each of the first 2 elimination rounds and 16 racers in the other 2 rounds. started at 7:30 pm finished at 12:00am . everybody had a good time and dave and rick provided some door prizes!!

yeah, I remember Itch! I actually saw him at an Admiral's game a few weeks ago. Are you Itch, or just name dropping? I was leaving slot racing for R/C racing just as Bob opened his track. I guess I wasn't feeling the vibe at Lucky Bob's so I moved on. I started racing in the late 1970's, basically grew up there......good times at Hank's.
I just started talking with Steve Olgilvie and also with Ed Tunkel about building some tracks. My dad and I have talked about opening a place for years and the time might be right to get this going.

I will most definitely have to stop up at Lucky Bob's some tuesday and check out the scene.

no we are not itch but we know him stop up to lucky bobs some day itch is there almost every day of the week except when there are hockey games and also if you stop up on a tuesday itch also drag races with us.
