Well here is my 1987 Honda Accord 4 cylinder stock car that lead me to 19 laps of massive engine destruction. I still don't know what happened to it, but I do know it sounds like a chevy 6.5 liter diesel engine when ya fire it up. Anyway, here are some action shots during the race.

by the way, if anyone knows where I can get my hands on a decent late 80's honda 2.0 12 valve engine thats fuel injected, let me know. I might even consider a carb engine. The engine code is A20a2

whats the rules can you race a turbo car if it came that way from the factory?or there different classes for n/a and boosted cars?

no forced induction cars. NA only. engine in the car must be what came in it from the factory.

A co-worker of mine races a Neon in a class/series like that. At some West Bend area track I believe. He was lending in points all summer and got his car claimed with only a few weeks to go. :gay

stock car racing isnt gay... its quite competitive and extremely challenging. a lot of those guys have some insane driving skills, and it takes a large ball sack to compete with them.


its also one hell of an andrenaline rush :D

The hardest work I did on my car was probably change the radiator. And I think it was kinda hard finding some wheels and tires for it. But next season I will scavenge junk yards for wheels and buy my tires brand new from tire rack. They have a good deal on the ones I want. This winter I need to find a new engine for it. When I do, I will do gaskets and bearings, and then swap em in. Do a lil tweaking on the head, repaint it with an actual decent paintjob. I painted the car the night before the race, was still a little tackey the next day :thumbsup

Dude how many miles on the motor? I will give you 300 bucks for it! Just the engine. I dont need the wiring harness or computer or trans or anything, just the motor. Let me know.

The car has 228k on it. No clue on the history of the motor but it runs like a top. I'm not going to sell it for $300.. I have nearly double that into it. I'll likely just hang on to it til something breaks then I'll sell it as a fixer-upper. As of now, the car literally pays me to drive it as my daily driver (mileage reibmursement). Keeps miles off my truck and it's easier to parallel park too.
