Before i was 16, my bike was my world. Im sure most here are the same. What did you have?

Me, GT performer. Bike cost $350. (that was a lot of money when you were 13 years old) Snapped the frame and got that replaced for free under warranty. They gave me a chrome GT pro freestyle frame and I still have it in the basement.

Oh boy, I haven't the foggiest idea what it was. The had two bikes as a kid and both are alive out at my parents farm, where they were ritualistically abused when I was younger.

You put alot of miles on a bike when your friend's house is five miles away.

I had a number of bikes, I couldn't even begin to list them all. The ones I still have would be my Haro Revo, Haro Nyquist, GT Vertigo, GT Dyno, Hoffman EP, and Dirt Bros Trailer Park

Hell yea, I would ride that thing all year. As long as there was not to much snow, i was out. No matter how cold it was, I was out on it too.

We used to ride from Mukwonago to my dads car lot in Waukesha a lot.

HUFFY!!!:banana1:

It got me where I needed to go and it took a shit load of abuse!! I have no idea what happened to it though. Sold? Dumpster? Who knows.

Also it was a mountain bike, not a trick bike. You guys must have great skillz to do tricks with those, I know I dont have any great skillz :)

you guys and your trickster bikes lol

I was a mountain bike d-bag....

96' Mongoose ALTA SX wasthe first "real" bike i bought, which was a pretty high end mtn bike in its day. All aluminum tear drop shaped frame rails, rock shox quadra 21r shock, all shimano grip shift gear shift parts and brakes, light weight rims... Like a 500$ bike back then. I worked at a bike shop then, so pretty much all my earning there went to that bike lol.

I still have the thing and ride it in summer, its light as hell and can pick it up to shoulder level with one arm and two fingers. Being it was so light you could lock it in 4th and wheelie the thing for ever.

pink Hutch Trickstar, black Hutch Judge, Purple Gt Pro Performer, CW Flyer, Haro Master, Haro FST, Kuwahara Magician, and a Quadangle.
About 3 years ago I started restoring a 1985 Hutch Trickstar, then made the mistake of a lifetime and sold it on Ebay for $900. I totally regret doing that!:loser

I had a GT Dyno VFR. I remember, every summer, in my neighborhood, someone would start a trend. One year, a nice bike, another year, skateboards, another year, roller blades, etc.

Your parents dropped some coin on you guys, we didn't have much money when I was growing up, so I had a Huffy. But we lived across from the Root River Parkway by Greenfield and Sunnyslope. What kind of bike I had really didn't matter, I had sledding hills in the winter, forest, and a creek. My brothers and I were set...

Still have my '97 GT Interceptor. Newer upgrades are Lizard Skins hand grips, Hayes mechanical brake lever, and brand new Sin Ringle "Big" City Lite wheels with Sun Ringle Superstock hubs. I work there, so if you guys want parts, let me know. http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f376/carboncivicsi/100_0439.jpg
