I got my simple pro stars sold supposedly. So i'm looking for something a little flashier. although trying to stay mid-priced, so I don't feel like spending $1500 on wheels alone :)

I've always like the one piece front alumastars, but i don't feel like bending one with the streets we drive on.

so looking at a couple other options -

these are a set of Holeshots i think, maybe Bogarts

Maybe a set of the regular alumastars...

any other thoughts?

If you ever change your mind (:rolf ) and need to change your backspacing you just order new inners or outers, don't have to buy new wheels......

hahaha, that's the whole reason i'm getting rid of the pro stars...

i'm having the rear narrowed 3"-3.5" so different backspacing is necessary.

at 3" that means i need a rim with 4.5" BS to be the same

at 3.5" that is 4" BS to be the same.

Most guys are going 3" and doing a 5" BS to tuck the wheel that extra 1/2"

i think those wheels look badass on your car, but i don't think they'd fit a girly f-body too well :) haha

andy, i heard the same thing. there is a designer on ls1tech for bogart that swears that the rims are no different than any of the welds in regards to strength

ideally, i like how this looks, even with the gold centers on the black car...

You'll break the fronts, the rears will be fine.......

I have always thought the gold centers were by far the ugliest rims out there.

Some of the new M/T and American racing rims out there are cool. They don't look that great w/o tires but on the car they look really cool.

My choice right now would have to be the Aluma-stars like on front of Halfbreed. I love the look of those.

Some of the Bogarts seem to old school now, they were the rims to have about 5-7 years ago but now seem alittle dated, not all of them just some of them.

Just my .02

yeah, the M/T and the American Racing rims like the ones I posted up top on the red car, are pretty cool looking. not to mention semi cheap at a couple places.

the new M/T wheels. i've seen them on the f-bodies and they look cool. i like the 3 piece look wiht the bolts bettern than the one piece look anyways, and it was cheaper, haha.

4.5" bs so i'm having Tom at OTE narrow the rear 3" on both sides for that deep dish look. still gotta decide what i want for fronts. they started making the 1 piece fronts in a specific bolt pattern instead of the dual bolt pattern ugly look.

I had those on my GN last summer..I loved them...And the fronts that match are ugly kinda thats why I went with the ones without the sidewall ribs for the fronts. Same look with a different sidewall..Noice choice good sir:)
EDIT: LOL My mistake I didnt have the mickys you have but the convo pros that russ was talking about : P Still good choice on the MT's
