ok so we are building a K24 Honda setup in our white civic..my personal street car that ran 10.0 w/ the turbo..(no stripping nothing.. full cage, full dash, no cutting, etc etc...REAL STREET CAR). Looking for 270whp(dynojet).... what do you guys figure it'll run with real slicks???
I'm hoping for at least 12s timeslips.....

what do most of you N/A guys 4cyls have??? 220whp-300whp??? what times do you run. I am so new at all motor....just want to know!!! hehe!!! no bsing here.....

hit me up!!!! :thumbsup

i'm giving up on my turbo setup... time to go all motor N/A... want to feel if N/A is faster/quicker then the FAT turbo setup.... damn turbo lag sucks...:thumbsup

what about all you guys... stop trying to hide and be all secretative...hehe... share guys!!! i wanna know!!!
heard about a car getting built to beat my 10.0 time...from a secret source... can't wait to see this car!!! i think he is using a GT42r in his B-series motor...damn that will be VERY fast.... can't wait to see it hit 9 sec... holly cow!!!

let me know what you guys think!!!!! :banana

well i unleashed some crazy HP out of my saturn... i put this cone filter on it and a exhaust system! :goof

good luck with the new build... all i know is that making N/A HP is a bit of a challenge! the one thing i do know about N/A is that the longer you can hold your hp/tq curves(higher RPM) you'll be movin! I know of a Civic with around 300whp on a N/A setup... he rev's out to 13kRPM:wooo ! the car holds the hp/tq curve from 8k rpm up. It hauls a lot of butt once it gets into the RPM's. The longer you can hold the power, the faster you'll go. KEY WORD: Useable Power

should be somewhere in the 12's i'd geuss. My buddy has relitivially built B18C5R in his Eg coupe and he ran a high 12 on street tires. so i'd geuss atleast there, but then again i'n not a n/a honda guy.

ROBBY.... 11.0 wtf... you are insane!!! 300whp in a street civic aint gonna touch low 11sec... I'd say with 300whp i'll see at best 11.999999@115mph or so..... remember STREET car "not" DRAG car!!! Will have full 8 point roll cage too!!! we are talking seriously 2300-24500lb depending if i can lose weight...LMAO haha.... :banana1:

N/A a challenge??? In a K series(K24) motor 260whp comes easy...very very easy especially with K-Pro Hondata.....Stock K24 w/ secret stock K-series Acura Head(hehe) yields almost 220whp with a BUNCH OF TORQUE on K-pro tuning already... I'm looking between 260-280whp!!! That will be do-able........CP makes an awesome 12:1 compression piston and SK2 already has a good camshaft for my setup... it'll be rock'n :banana

Damn if I put it in a CRX gutted-out(1500-1600lb) that'll be quick as heck!!! NO COMMENT!!! hehe!!!!

Too bad hondata doesn't make K-pro for the TSX's :(

Gotta love those Acura parts though..hehe

ROB man you blew See out of the hole..... i think he was sleeping..hehe!!! :thumbsup you know he's out of the game so he must have been RUSTY...haha!!!

I was videoing near the end of the track.. i have a clip of tri BLASTING by you on the topend in 4th gear....got you by 1-2car.. that was a cool run!!! :thumbsup

NICE to see both cars(see/rob) that we built and tuned take eachother out... I'm confident your H22 HB turbo would've ran an easy 11.9@117-120mph@6-7psi...... See's was probably in the lower 12s times.... I drove and tuned both cars...they felt that way to me....:thumbsup

Should've kept that car rob... :confused so much pontential yet!!! :chair:

11.3 @ 120 at 2055 lbs is mine.,if yours weighs 300 lbs more you should run mid 11's with 300whp. Now your talking Bee, i can't wait to finally have a little honda all motor competition.

mike, turbo power differs then your N/A power.... 11.7@118-119mph was from one of our customer's street setup with 290ish whp full street car....

290whp n/a is much more usuable in the 1/4 mile since there is NO spool up time like turboed setups!!! That is why N/A needs less power to run quicker.....:thumbsup

i'm thinking more of a 11.8 run in my N/A... just weighed myself and a typical EG hatchback with a K24 setup and my fatass...with 8 point cage = 2500lb or so... damn...

so high 11sec street N/A setup is my ultimate aim!!!:thumbsup :goof

yeah i'm tied up big time...got other plans for the shop and our dyno is now FINALLY going to get installed after this new years.... no more bling bling $$$.... for this K24 project.....

If it's not done like I plan at least I'll have a K24 with a ported head and K-pro. Looks like that may be the route!!! 220-230whp with a BUNCH of torque... maybe low 12s w/o a cage.....:thumbsup

heard a bit about your n/a setup mike.... looks like you'll be dominating the n/a scene again unless King Motorsports builds one to compete in the 1/4mile!!! always hearing RUMORS that they may one day build a DRAG CAR....but then again SEEMS like they are more road race based year after year....:thumbsup

They won't build any drag car, Tim @ king says hes asked scott about making a drag car but it won't happen, if someone will beat me with a b-series it will be tim, but i have the highest turbo and all motor horsepower on their dyno to date. :banana but since i talk to him every day i always have the chance to keep 1 step ahead.
