I moved down to New Orleans to get away from the cold. It hasn't gotten past 60 for the last two weeks and most nights it is down around 40. Last nite it was in the 30's. But I guess that is better than what you guys have to deal with.

Gets really cold on the bike.

not cool

joke, personally, I'm a winter fiend. FWIW, when I lived in Jacksonville FL, it would occassionally get below freezing...twice it snowed.

Cold? I've been working outside up on the 4th floor of a wide open building.
Nothing like 10* and being 60-70' in the air with 20-30 mph winds. :(

Last night when I was ridding the Bike home I cross a bridge that goes over the mississippi river about 200' up. Man that wind was blowing me around.

Yeah when I lived up there I landscaped and had to do snow removal in the winter. nothing like clearing snow with a skidsteer with no heat.

yeah I was stationed in JAX when I was in the Navy. It did get pretty cold out. Nice and windy out on the flight line.

Nothing like standing in exhaust to stay warm. Done it many times here in Beaufort.

yeah I use to stand right behind the Helo where the exhaust came out, that'll keep you warm. Also when I was on the Carrier out in the Atlantic in feb. it was always nice to have some jet exhaust to warm you up. Just don't get blown overboard. lol:rolf

yeah when we were in the gulf I worked nights and it was still 100 out and then with all the jet exhaust it was like 110-120

Being on the flight deck during the day was hell guys would pass out from dehydration all the time.
