So about a month ago my girlfriend and I filled out a pamphlet at a resturaunt to win a cruise for 2. I get a call from http://www.securitytravelusa.com/ last night saying that I won. They give me a number to call with a recording. It explaines the whole thing, it's a 4 day 3 night cruise on the Discovery to the Bahamas, including the hotel. I have 18 months to take to trip, and they promise it has nothing to do with one of those time share seminars. I'm responsable for travel down to Ft Lauderdale. They want me to pay $87.50/per person to register the vacation, and $90/per person when we would leave that includes Bahama's tax, port fee's and docking fees. That's a little under $400 for the "free trip". I'm pretty weary of it. What do you guys think? When I call the company, they give me that same story.

I'll register for the trip too, I'll let you know if I "win" as well.

I'm guessing its a scam or something not worth taking leave for.

400 dollers PLUS air fare, gonna come to about 800 for that free vacation. Not a scam, just a way for them to trick you into thinking your getting a fabulous deal on a trip.

Most of these types of drawings are scams.
