I was at sunburst last weekend. Snow sucked, but wasn't too cold. Crowded for a first weekend. I have a season pass (only 109 bucks in summer!) so I didn't care.

This last snow was really really high in the water content, so it turns to ice very easily. When you caught an edge, your edge would just sink into some corn snow under the ice covering. Made for shitty skiing....Good chance to practice in bad snow though.

BUT, skiing is like sex. Even when it sucks, it's still skiing, right?

i was at Alpine tuesday, very good snow, and they were making plenty more the whole time on almost all the runs minus the Terrain Park and a few others. Switz hasn't even opened yet, Friday though. Stopped by Cascade last weekend, needs more snow
