No, I didn't jump it :durr I flipped it  . Started out like a good morning. Took an hour and 20 minutes to get from Milwaukee to Brookfield. I didn't eat anything this morning, and figured, hell, I'll just fly to my place, use the Bobcat, get the driveway done in under ten minutes and get back to the woman for some breakfast. Well, first pass down the drive way, I dumped the snow out of the bucket, turned around and started to back up. But instead of the Bobcat going backwards, it slid to the right (ice under the snow) and before I could fix it, both tires fell off the driveway and over it went. I've got about 900 hours in a Bobcat, this stuff usually doesn't happen.

However, on my way to my place, I pulled two people out of the ditch with my truck. One guy gave me $10 and the other guy couldn't pay (he was driving a Lexus  ) and then the Bobcat thing happens... what happened to Karma?

The Bobcat left one hell of a hole! :rolf

Back in it's home, no worse for wear. Although, now the oil dipstick is stuck in the block, can't figure that one out.

Yes, the Bobcat did flip this morning. I wasn't wearing my seat belt, and I'm now feeling the tumble on my body. Kinda sore. John, I just got the bigger garage, along with the new place. The Z was put in its new home last night :)

I was hoping you guys would get a chuckle out of this. I never flipped a Bobcat before, other things have happened, but never two and a quarter tons above my head.

Holy Crap glad you're ok! I flipped my dad's skidloader a few years ago on a jobsite... hurt like hell and I had the seatbelt on. Glad to hear you got the shiny side back up :)

Man, that's a better story than flipping a quad! Wonder what the grass is going to look like in spring.

Did Jeff ever tell you how I fixed the crooked bed on my old Dodge D50? I attached to forks to the Bobcat, put the forks underneath the bed on the side that was lower, and lift the whole ass end of the truck off the ground. I started to shake it up and down violently untill both sides of the bed were parallel with the ground. People around the jobsite had eyes like this :stare , but hey, it worked. :D

Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing. It's a deep hole. I have to do landscapping around the new place come spring, so I guess I have a little extra to do.

because the construction biz slows down in winter so why not use it as a shovel :goof

A very fun shovel to be exact. :D Plus, I will be using it around the new place for landscaping... like making new holes in the lawn with it's roof :goof

Found out the oil dipstick ('bout 1/8" dia. 8" long, kind of a slight 'V' shape) came out of the block just a little bit and when the Bobcat flipped onto it's top, the dipstick twisted and hit the crank bending it to the point where it would not come out of the block. Pulling on it resulted in half of it breaking off in the oil pan. Crap... Well, might be able to use a magnet to temporarily fix this.
