Hooker Competition headers 2460 for third gen TPI cars?Anyone know anything about these? they have 1-5/8th primaries. My goal is 12s would these be able to support that? I would take them in to get coated before I installed them too. Ill be getting them for x mas and I dont want them to spend too much. Let me know your opinions. Or if you could suggest a better header for the price. Thanks!

To reiterate juiced, those headers are just fine for 12s.

2055s are the most popular 3rd gen header, however they come with air tubes. What do you have for the rest of the exhaust? You'll need a different y-pipe.

Where are you going to get them coated?

Let me know what places you find. I had mine done in ACS in Texas. While the headers were nice, the work they did on the y-pipe was crap. The company’s now out of business, they have a pretty bad reputation.

just order them from jet-hot. They are actually probably cheaper than most places.

Jet Hot FTW, did my dads '55 Bel-Air's exhaust, the whole thing, headers, piping, everything but the mufflers, they are polished edelbrocks.
