seen it before (I think someone posted it a long long time ago) but damn, what are the odds of that? (not only the northern/musky eating the other northern on the line, but the fisherman taking a pic at the exact right time???)

In a galaxy far far away:rolf

The post I found it on was from 2003 or something, on a truck board. I figured this one will be ok for a repeat.

Thats happed to me before, on my uncles lake just threw a couple casts out, hooked a largmouth, get em about 3 ft from the dock and bam musky comes up and takes him away, with my rapala:mad:
But that looks like one massive musky in that pic, just insane.

In my experience, Muskies are pretty dumb. That is the only fish I have encountered that will try and hit a lure that is just sitting next to the boat. Then stay there while you do figure 8s with it.

I liked that pic because you can only imagine what that guy was thinking at that moment.

Muskies are actually pretty smart fish. They come up to the boat cause usually the ones that do are monsters and don't really feel the boat for food. Seen some monster's and caught a few monster on Pewaukee Lake.

the one on the line actually has some of the meat just before the tail gone so i'm guessing he was roughed up before or that big guy hit him once before he hit the line...

Got this in an e-mail

A guy who lives at Lake Conroe (50 miles north of Houston) saw a ball bouncing around kind of strange in the lake and went to investigate.

It turned out to be a flathead catfish who had obviously tried to swallow a basketball which became stuck in its mouth!!

The fish was totally exhausted from trying to dive, but unable to because the ball would always bring him back up to the surface. The guy tried numerous times to get the ball out, but was unsuccessful. He finally had his wife cut the ball in order to deflate it and release the hungry catfish.
You probably wouldn't have believed this,

if you hadn 't seen the following pictures...

Is that a rhetorical question. If not, my guess is... at least one. :goof :shades
