She caught me taking the first picture and made this face, so I got her again

Found this joint not far from the keys, lots of messages on the remains of the block house from surviving family members.

We stopped at this SWEET ASS zoo-jungle thing, best 12 bucks I have EVER spent. We had a blast at this place, lots of birds and we both love those so BAM

On our way in, COOL

http://www.the-aken.com/photos/d/4045-2/lookinup.jpg

tree, and me

http://www.the-aken.com/photos/d/4043-2/memofo.jpg

And we come across a jungle gym, so we had to play for a minute

http://www.the-aken.com/photos/d/4071-1/giraffe___.jpg

So we walk around the next curve and this African Grey starts staring me down:

http://www.the-aken.com/photos/d/4016-1/africangrey.jpg

So we start playing with his buddy

http://www.the-aken.com/photos/d/4029-2/lisakaywithbigassbird.jpg

These two were too neat, and very camera friendly. The blue and golds are my favorite

This little guy was in a few of the shots backgrounds I have on my computer, and he was staring at the camera in every one of them

So enough of the parrots for now, we start walking through the reptile building ( no photography here ) and got to see some pretty cool gators. Baby ones are TINY. After that, we checked out the turtles. Nothing cool to take photos of there, although they were HUGE ASS TURTLES. Next we found flamingos and pelicans

http://www.the-aken.com/photos/d/4037-1/flamingointhewater.jpg

http://www.the-aken.com/photos/d/4039-1/flamingooo.jpg

And turns out, they were hungry for some shrimp pellets

http://www.the-aken.com/photos/d/4041-1/flamingocrazy.jpg

but so were the ducks, this one nipped lisa's finger which resulted in this embarrassing photograph. Yes, I had to post it

And them coming back for seconds, single file-ish

http://www.the-aken.com/photos/d/4077-1/singlefileflamingos.jpg

PELICAN!

http://www.the-aken.com/photos/d/4049-1/pelican.jpg

And this loner wood duck ( I think? ) found him plopping in for a swim

http://www.the-aken.com/photos/d/4051-1/woodduckithink.jpg

Random photo of these lizards that are found damn near everywhere in Sarasota, Florida

Close enough to kiss:

Its a gourmet ice cream type deal, italian. Theres a joint right on the keys that sells it, superb! There is a few local places that sell gelato as well, not as good though.
