me and 3 others from bcm were there plus I met pepino as I was leaving. Me and Ryan started the camp out around 11:30pm. F@cking nuts!!! the wait outside wasnt as bad as the wait inside for the damm desktop pc. I did finally have to resort to violence for a moment as some idiot cut in front of me as I was approaching a cashier(this was AFTER I waited an additional 2 1/2hrs!!!!). A couple of choice words and he gave me the WTF look and stepped back out of line.:goof

The line at BreastBuy brookfield was about 200 deep at 5am, curved all the way around to Gander Mountain.
I got my Radeon X1600 Pro :) too bad the $60 250gb hard-drives were gone instantly.
Went to CompUSA after, saw some guy storming out "I'm never shopping here again! :rolf Got my 80pk jewel cases for $8, waited in line forevAr because their "system" was down, and had to call in every single credit/debit card for verification. Pretttty sure I was the only one with cash, ugh.

So was any of these gifts for other people or just for yourself?

I'm curious as to what "black friday" shoppers are actually there for. For Christmas gifts or for themselves.

I'm sitting here watching Discovery HD and I'm plenty impressed:goof

I got a bunch of the 4.99 and 2.99 DVDs as well as whatever other cheap crap I could grap.

Holy sh!t! That's rediculous! Was it worth it though?

How many hours do you have on your TV and XBoX? The HD channels look AMAZING.

P.S. SPEED channel has a Muscle Car marathon right now, currently a show about the Grand National, pretty badass.

One of these years I think I'll actually do that... My best memory from one early morning at Wal*Mart on black friday was watchng my grandpa try to run over some walmart employees with a cart while he was trying to enter through the exit... :rolf

AGP. It was actually benchmarked higher than the PCI-E. By like .01% :goof

Everyone was crowding that aisle, but no one seemed to be interested in them. Yay for me because I was like 200th in line.

wow im surprised about that graphics card. I was under the assumption that AGP is outdated and obsolete. But you know what happens when you assume....

It is, as far as I know atleast? I think what it is, is almost all mobo's are pci now and its hard to find a agp one that supports a newer processor which would be a choke point for the video card.

I think!

I wonder if that card supports xfire?

Wasnt the agp one like 100 bucks cheaper than the PCI one? I saw it on there site for 99bucks I think and the pci one was almost 200.

Xfire = yes.
And nope, they were both $99, I don't have a PCI-E slot though :(

You are correct sir. PCI-E slots are 16x min., compared to AGP's 8x max. Dead!

I love this TV! I didn't even realize it had a VGA input on it.

It was a rough night playing Counter Strike on a 32" LCD

After looking at TVs and stuff this weekend, I know that in the next year... I'll be in the market for some kind of HDTV with all sorts of fun features... lol :thumbsup

The TV itself was $479, and then the performance plan was only $60!

Apparently there were a couple returned to the Fox Point Best Buy, as well as 1 or 2 of the 22" computer screens.
