Finally I got the pictures of my new dog Sugar done and hosted. She is a little over a year old and is a Pug/German Shepard mix.

how did they get those 2 breeds to cross??? german shepards are on the large size while pugs a on the smaller side. regardless it makes for one nice looking puppie!

I don't know how the two breed. Sugar is doing a lot better. Monday she was playing with my friends dog when I was at school and they were maniacs and would only sit down for a minute and then they were back to chasing each other around the house. Yesterday she did really good ate and drank her food ran around some then back to napping on the couch. Thank you for the comments guys.

Generally mixes like that go down doggy style. Most do you know?

Actually, generally a smaller mutt, of definite shepard type will mate with a pug, resulting in a dog that looks like sugar.

Congrats on the dog...should bring her up to my place and let her and gus play around!

Kelly and I were looking at getting a Puggle, they're cute but EXPENSIVE.

I love anything with a pug mix. Good choice and cute dog.

My friend bought his for $800 at puppy world in October of 2005. Now at puppy world they are like a $1000. I heard of some going for as much as $2500

I want her to meet a lot of dogs but I have to wait a two weeks to make sure she doesnt have something that could pass to other dogs.

depends on where you get it from. Pet stores have a 100-150% mark-up on their dogs. I would (almost) never buy a dog from a pet store like puppyworld, or puppy land not just because of the price, but because you have no idea where they came from. A lot of instances of inbreeding and health problems can arise from 'puppy mill' dogs. I've seen Puggles for sale in the west bend newspaper for around $400.
My uncle owns Ganderland Labradors- anyone interested in buying a Lab puppy, check them out. I was up there (Brownsville, near Lomira) hunting this week and they have a bunch of puppies ready to go.
