Anybody going to Best Buy the day after Thanksgiving? I'm going to hit up Best Buy right away in the morning to get a new LCD tv, but if anyone else is going to be waiting in line I might as well see if I can find someone to talk to :goof

There is a new Best Buy by mayfair. I'm not sure if that one or the Brookfield will get more of them. Too bad John doesn't work there, he could get us some info. My buddy works at the Fox Point one, he's going to see what he can find for me today.

I worked at the brookfield BBY last Black-hell day and got there around 3:00 am and already the line went around the building almost to Gander Mountain.

You know, I have always thought of running for Gov in Wisconsin. If elected, I would regulate on what retailes can and can not do a bit.

Some things I would regulate are...

1 Anyone working in retail on Sundays gets time and a half.

2 Your store can not open earlyer then 9am no mater what day it is. (unless food or medicine is sold.)

3 if you are commision, you get 1.5 commision in items sold on Sundays.

isnt the best buy on hwy 100 by mayfair gone. i was pas there last week and the store is empty no lit sign or anything. you guys better check on that before going. or did they just move close by and i missed it

you missed it cooop, it's across from mayfair shopping center...the BIG building with blue and yellow on it.......across from cheescake factory....

My buddy is workin at Best Buy right now, he is going to let me know after his shift is over.

It's supposed to be in the 50's on thursday, and warmer on Friday as well. I don't think the night will be terrible.

The problem is that the tv may only be $475 with the purchase of a $200 install, which non of us need.

Alright I'm just makin sure this is the final plan since I probably will not have time to get on to a computer tomorrow afternoon.

I'll be getting to the mayfair best buy around 11:30 PM or so, who else will be there besides Yoo and Pork. Yoo and Pork I have both of your numbers and I believe both of you have mine. I'm glad we can have a few guys waiting together so that we can vouch for eachother for bathroom breaks and what not.

The best buy in the falls had a line from 5pm. I drove past at 8pm to scope it out and had to get in line without any preparations :(. My little bro got me food and clothing and in the end the 32" westinghouse lcd hdtv is mine ;) muahahaha

They still had like 30 of those lined up on the floor in Brookfield around 7am, no one was touching them =P

You had to go pay for it and do all of your other shopping before you could pick it up. I was in the store for about an hour before anybody had touched one. Plus, if you got stuck in computers for 3 hours like yoo, it would have been a while.

They only got 19 of them at the mayfair store. But I don't care caus... I got one!:goof

I gots one of dem derr LCDs too!!!! I also got a decent desktop, a printer, a portable dvd player, an upconvert dvd player, an mp3 player, 7 dvds, a 1gig jumpdrive. I was so tired that I passed on teh 360 because I needed sleep before work(which I never got and I am still at).....

We used the ones that were lined up to make a makeshift fence so our dept would not interfere with the check out lines.

My Black Friday was screwed up. Was supposed to pick up a rather nice point and shoot camera for my woman and a 1 GB memory card from Shortcircut City, but found out later in the day on Thursday that those items were for sale online and had sold out before the store opened on Friday, even though when I went to check it out online on Thursday, I decided to try and buy it to see what the price would be, and I went to check out and it said "in store only". WHAT THE **** IS THAT?

Mmm yeah... the westinghouse 32" hdtvs were gone very quickly. I also picked up the $59 Insignia 5.1 surround sound. Then, after a quick trip to wallmart, I had a lcd mount/tv stand (it's a wall mount type thingy and stand in one). The only problem is that neither the tv nor the stand came with the bolts for the mounting bracket :(

I can't believe I've been without HDTV for so long! Or surround sound, for that matter. Best $700 and 10 hours in line that I've ever spent.
