I'll ride with you guys. I have an indy classic. Older technology but my friends can't loose me in twisty trails even with their revs.

Best riding sled on the market. Watch the compression though...rings can be a big issue on series III rotax engines. I'm in for some local riding.

GLD drag will NOT be happening this year, they are battling the insurance to do it.
Anyone have some land so we can do our own drags??? we need a good 1000'

Well hold your horses.. isn't even any snow yet hehe
I wasn't sure if they had canceled it last year or not.. i went to it 2 years ago and they basically did it in the mud... maybe it was 3 years ago.. i cant remember i just know i was playing around in the mud on my blaster hehe

the new Polaris Switchbacks are pretty cool. turbocharged. Guy at the dealer told me if ya make a bypass for the turbo, it tricks the computer into thinking the turbo is only making half the boost, so the computer makes the turbo boost up to 8psi, which is totally safe for the motor. Instant 50hp gain. That puts the sled right around 190hp :)

They are sweet. Adjustable handlebars. Just like cars have tilt for steering wheels, these have tilt for the handle bars. 9 adjustments. turbo 4 stroke.

If I knew we were going to have a heavy winter I'd remotely consider getting one, but lately, local winters blow. It snows, then a day later its all gone.

those are PIGS! the Revs weight the least out of all. And polaris has been having a lot of issues(recalls) on their new snowmobiles.

CANT WAIT FOR THE SNOW!!!

hey my polaris quad is a pig. dry weight is 780lbs. add oil, a full tank of gas, my winch, and my fat ass on it, and you got yourself a heavy machine, but it still moves good. I'd prefer to have a heavier sled anyway. makes it feel like its more "planted" to the ground.

SloLS1,
That was not only on the 04-05 600 sdi. I know more about doo's than you can even imagine. Between my uncle and I we have owned 5 in 3 years including 3 rev 800's. One of them burned down twice in the same year. Some of the 05's got the leftover 04 rings. You may want to join at dootalk.com and read up!

i am sure you do know more... from what i have heard, from my buddy who works at a skidoo dealer, he said it was only the 600's. i my self have owned a couple rev 800's including a summit when i was in wyoming. I have never had a problem. BUT even if i do i have a full warrenty on this one so i am not to worried! we'll see what happens... maybe if it blows up i will make it into a mod sled with a stroker motor:wooo

we can "street race" in the grass...outlaw style.

on grass we really only need 500-600 ft for racing and about the same for shut down.
to run a full 1000 ft on grass would make for some serious speeds............

I am going to re-do the cooling system this fall on the ZRT. I am going to replace the hoses if need be, and all the clamps and start fresh. It was a re-occurring problem all last season. Same thing that happened to us on lake winnebago. Have any ideas on keeping those hoses on?

That is what im talking about!!. :rolf i have maybe $800 in my 250f in motor mods. All you have to do is get a rev box to make it rev to its full potential. 13-14k rpm instead of 11k.dynojet makes the power commander for it. make a pipe for it... Its only shy of 500lbs. 1cc per pound. it hauls stock with 80hp. ride one once it tops out like a 500 2 stroke but its low to mid feels like a 600 - small 700. with some studs u can bumper stand it. no joke. with 150hp jeezus i couldnt imagine....:wooo
