OMG....Blizzaks on a FWD car= Overkill.
If you have a GOOD set of all-seasons, shouldnt be a problem.

Have you tried driving a 300 hp/330TQ FWD car in snow with 18" wheels with good year RSA's on them?:rolf
I dont care to take 30 seconds to get accross an intersection.
And its got blizzaks at all 4 corners!:wow

We've got 17" Continental Something on the Fusion... It's not a 300hp car, but it don't have Trac Control, or ABS...

Your math is wrong Dave.....Blizzaks on a FWD car=FUN!!!! Been there on my last fwd car and NOTHING beats the 'zaks for the powder driving. I got caught with my brand new all seasons and after the first mess, on went the Blizzaks!

Thats your problem right there.
I guess If I was rich like others here, I would spend the loot on Blizzaks.:)
But I just know how to drive in the snow.:D

IT was a slushy mess down here in delavan.... roads were slick in some spots. time for new tires on the truck. The 2 bald rear tires and the 7 year old front tires aren't very good in the snow/slush and rain.

I don't think having snows on any car is overkill. Maximum traction in snow and ice is the most safe. It's a nice feeling when you have complete control over your car when people are going half your speed are sliding all over.

bought a set of blizzaks off CL for $135 with 3K miles on'm.
putting them on the 97 88 so I can blow right past all the SUVs with their car tires. 4WD is worthless unless you buy some real rubber. Remember every car/truck stops with all 4 tires and stopping is way more important than going.

ta's just a little slippery. seems better than the goat though, must be the heavy iron engine.
I have all-season tires on mny audi and it already scoots!
I am thinking about getting a set of real snow tires such as blizzaks or those hakkapeliitta (sp?) things. I will need them if I drive to Vail this winter.
