i'd rather have a crazy N/A 2.0l in it... putting the 2jz in it weighs it down alot. If you were going for only straight line driving then it would be great but that kills the purpose for that car! still a nice looking swap, but doesnt look too fun to work on!

that s2k NOW will have a hard time getting traction.....unless they refined traction issues... dang what about handling...yikes...:goof So much weight in front.....:confused

anyhow, that setup looks sweet!!!!:thumbsup

I'm sure it would lose some of it's nimbleness but it would be hilarious passing liter bikes on the freeway with an s2000. I just can't believe that engine fits in there, a number of rx7 guys have tried to build 2jz powered fd's, but few have succeeded, those that have required firewall modification and custom hood. Those inline 6's are loooong!

I know that Mr. Honda is rollin' in his grave.

I on the other hand love it. Damn I need that in my life, a vert with boost......

does it include a rear end... s2k RE's are bad...very bad...

for $16k i'd keep the 2.0 and do a FULL build.... put a nice gt35r and push a good 20psi... 500-550rwhp will be more then enough for the RE to handle. also $16k can buy a good FORD RE and custom driveshaft..hehe!!! in the end you get good handling and good weight distribution. heck with $16K the 2.0 can be enlarged to a 2.4L for more torque/hp if need be....:thumbsup

in the end, we all want to be streetable and not sacrafice driveability so much. I'd only do a 2jz if I went FULL Drag in the s2k.....:thumbsup

in fact, i may build a full street s2k in the near future....will update...:thumbsup

That doesnt include a rearend. I saw a video of it and they stated there only at like 9psi or something crazy low like that. 16k into the original motor wouldnt ever put down the power of bone stock 2jz motor. with a minimal sized turbo say a PTE71 800hp is easily had. and the stock motor with maybe some cams can handle it all day long. Thats a sick setup I sure wouldnt wanna ever have to work on it. its jammed in there.
