To any and all you SEMA goers this year i want pic's of this car!!!!!

anyway, here it is!
http://www.full-race.com/r14/

Inspired by the dreams of Full-Race's head engineer Geoff Raicer to own, modify and drive a US-spec Nissan Skyline GTR, project R14 promises to change the scope of sport compact performance as we know it.

Merging the legendary R32 Skyline GTR with an easily obtainable Nissan 240SX, Full-Race's patent pending Project R14 is the first kit car in the sport compact industry. It is the first US-Street legal, Left-Hand-Drive (LHD), All-Wheel drive (AWD), Skyline GTR, yet it retains the appearance of an S13/S14 240SX.

Using a readily available and affordable complete R32 GTR front clip consisting of: RB26DETT engine, transmission/transfer case, front/rear diff & drive shafts, Double Wishbone suspension and brakes, Full-Race can convert any S13 or S14 240SX to a lightweight AWD Skyline GT-R.

I went and spoke to Geoff about the car. It's insane!! You have to provide the front Skyline clip or they can provide it for you. You bring your S14 to them and for $15K they provide you with a turnkey AWD S14. Think about it, you'll have about $30 stock to $40K modified for a car that is STREET LEGAL. Yeah, it will be heavier than a stock S14, but you only gain about 200lbs. Who cares? Turn the boost up and tune it and you'll destroy damn near anything on the street.

you could throw that drivetrain in a Yugo if you wanted to spend the money. Sure it may be a kit, but is it somewhat reasonable? I bet its outrageous.

Nice photos and really impressive work.

Thanks Big Boost for the information on the car. i've seen some RB Swapped 240's go for high teens to low 20's so i spouse 15K to do the swap to a 3k S14 isn't too bad if you have the money.

Hey, no problem. The car weighs in just under 2900lbs. That's over a 700lbs savings from the R34.
S14 $5K-8K
R34 front clip $6K
Full Race conversion $15K
Figure about $26K-28K for everything.
Yes it will be stock, but again, factor about $10K of mods and you'll be a beast on the street. Yes, it is still a 240SX but it has the heart (and feet) of a lion.

well you can find a shell of a S14 for around 2ish and thats all you really need. but i didn't realize it's you pay for the clip and then an extra 15K to do it. :durr

The rb26dett is a nice engine and all, but 15k just to convert it:rolleyes:
Also a 200 lb weight gain to the front WILL be a noticeable one!

yeah, i've heard just doing the RB25/26 as well as the 2JZ is very noticeable but they say it's easy to fix with a decent suspension setup :thumbsup

The 200lb increase is total weight, not the amount over the front wheels. They added a bit on structural reinforcement too.
