Screw it, I am going to move on. Blue book is $9500. Some one come get this for $6000 obo. Here are the problems.

Tranny doesn't shift into 3rd. This is the reason I am selling.
I had to take the front drive shaft out because the transfer case went bad. So it is only a 2x4 now. But can be fixed.
rear window wiper doesn't work.
heated seats don't work. (easy fix from what I hear.)

The interior is like new. This is the main reason I purchased it.

I am fustrated. :(

So, I take it the stuff didn't work huh?

Free bump for a clean Jeep. I just saw it today actually!

No, but at least I tried. Maybe I should trade it in and get what you got. That thing is damn nice.:thumbsup

so it needs a transfer case and a tranny?

Odds are the tranny is an 46RE which has a known issue with the high pressure solenoid. Rebuilid is not that costly. Call Boucher Dodge in Racine and ask for Chris in service...he will set ya straight.
Not shifting out of third is an issue that may actually be covered.
It was on my Durango...same tranny.
As far as the t-case goes, get a 231 from a Cherokee or a Grand Cherokee.
This is the one with the PartTime 4WD setting but not the FullTime 4WD setting. These can be had cheap, and will give you better mileage and less wear by only driving the rear wheels unless you put it in 4WD, which should only be done on slippery surfaces with this t-case. Easy swap.

Rather than sell yours for a loss, buy my GC with a rebuilt trans and TC and install it in yours then part the rest out.

screw it. First $3500 takes it home as is. I don't have the time or $ to fix it and I can't have it just sit here so it has to go ASAP.

Some one is going to get a steal on this if they can get a tranny and put it in. I am taking a HUGE loss in this nice Jeep, all becasue if the stupid trans. :(
