This is Jay Browns 69 Mach 1.
He runs in the Hot Rod "Drag Week" races....
This year he had to enter his Ford GT in the 12.00 street car class instead of his 490 S/C & NOS 69 Mach as the engine combo was not tested and sorted out in time for the Drag Week 06 event.....He won Drag Week 05 with the same 69 Mach 1 with a 511 FE in the "Big Block N/A" class.....This year he did win the 12.00 street car class with his Ford GT....

Rocketdyne F1 with a mere 1.5 million pounds of thrust. The solid fuel rocket boosters (SRB) from the space shuttle develop a lot more thrust but they can't be throttled back like a liquid fuel rocket can, so therefore would have no place on a street:rolf car...
Actually mounting this engine to a car would be ridiculous endeavor in and of itself, but the real trick to this deal would be the fuel system. The F1 at full throttle burns approximately 2 tons of LOX and 1 ton of kerosene every second...

That's a Saturn 1B rocket. The first stage housed eight H1 engines for a total of 1.6 million pounds of thrust. The F1 engine in my post developed a shade over 1.5 million pounds of thrust on it's own. The Saturn V rocket had five F1 engines in it's first stage for a combined total of 7.7 million pounds of lift off thrust.

More accurately, it is a GT40R. Better seen in the pic below.

Either way, I like the modification of the intake cam gear to run an electric water pump. Cool idea!
FYI, a DNP T4 manifold with a GT40R or a GT42R DO fit in the stock style location with a 3.5" downpipe.
