On the way home there were salters on I-94. Just a heads up to all those who have not busted out the beaters yet, it is now time. :(

Paying county employees to work and drive around had proven much cheaper than paying them those beefy pension/retirement plans... :rolf

Must be the 30 hours of non stop rain we had. But, yes, there were salters out on I-94 at 4AM Sunday. :(

It could have been a newb learning his route, but I doubt they'd do that at 4am... I didn't see any either :)

damm dude. buy a beater! I know there was a set of C5 rims with blizzaks for sale on MFBA you might wanna pick up otherwise, beaters are pretty cheap right now.

I noticed salt on I-94 past Miller Park towards downtown this morning, a ton is on the side of the road on for a small stretch but nothing actually on the road so all should be well yet. Must of missed it yesterday when I was driving, maybe the sun this morning helped ;).

i bought new tires for the stock wheels and took off the TT2's.. it wont be that bad really if the roads are crappy i will just drive the girlfriends SUV or not go to work. hell i got 5 payed sick days for a reason :) if the roads are plowed i will be allright at least i hope. and i will only drive my car if i absolutly have to.

i was looking for beaters b4 and the ones i found for 1500 or less(thats what i could spend) were shit thier were a couple that i wouldn't mind picking up that would probably last me more than 2 years but i decided to get new tires and just drive it. i will be purchasing a brand new truck next summer so this is the LAST winter this car will see.

You can get decent, reliable and not too ugly of vehicles for under 1k with ease...they might not scream at you but on sides of roads, through friends, online, etc.
