Awesome fight card for their US premier!



I dont not put pride over UFC or vise versa (Just an MMA fan...I know how the UFC/Pride clicks can get...lol)....but check it out. It's always a good show.

Its always awesome to watch Fedor fight!! Will be interesting to see how to perform with different rules now though. Some good competition for UFC too. Will they still fight in ring with ropes or do they use octagons or cages? I cant stand the ropes btw.

Ring with ropes. And they have to go by Nevadas rules....except pride will not alow elbows to a downed opponent (stupid rule IMO).

Interesting.

Herb Dean and Steve Mazzagati are 2 of the refs for tonight...lol. I'm sure it has to do with the nevada sports comission.
They really didnt look too enthused though.

Yeah...decent but one sided fights so far. But what is really getting old is the "Pride is the best orginization in MMA" over and over and over again.

They are REALLLY trying to push this thing...lol.

Yes they are! It's obvious in the winner's speeches for sure. WTF is this 20 min. break crap. Good show so far but I don't know about the announcer lady. lol

I saw Jason Stathem in the crowd as well. He is at all the UFC PPV's as well.

What a dumbass matchup...lol Coleman vs. fedor...lol.

Did anybody give Coleman a chance? And damn..his eye was fvked up!!!!

I would really like to see Fedore vs. Tim Sylvia. I would pay good money to see that.

It's nice that Pride made a good lop sided fight card though....makes it somewhat exciting. At least you get to see some good ass beatings...lol.

Pride may have slightly better fighters...but I still think UFC is more exciting.

Just my opinion, but Fedor would tear through Sylvia or any other heavyweight out there. It looked like he was just out for a decent workout with Coleman. I don't see him being beat for quite some time.

I would watch either the UFC or Pride or any other MMA event. I know they have to compete against eachother, but it almost got sickening last night with all the Pride is the greatest crap.
