Check out a used CD store, they always have them. I would recommend getting a newer (slim) version becuase you will save money if you plan on using the system for online gaming. If you get an older one then you have to also buy the online adapter for it which last time I looked was around 60 dollars.

Like CD max or any other place like that.:thumbsup

Thanks, we don't have many places like that down here. i'm gonna stop at game stop and see how much used ones are. and hopefully they don't stick it too far up my ass. lol

So you fix PS2's then? how much would it cost to get a old one fixed? i might be able to get up there late next week (parents have a house in Adams Friendship) thanks - Nick

Dr. Doom PM Sent ;) sorry it took so long.

Depending on the problem we fix PS2's from $20 to $40. If it needs a new laser (#1 problem, like does not read disc, loads too long and/or quits) its $40
Some times the drive motor is bad too, or the disc door is broke. I have only had one go over $40 and it was $65 becuse it needed all of the above!
