ideas for a theme? and not doing a contest just like to see everyones photos and gives everyone motivation to shoot.

i was thinking at least for one have a fall season type thing that could include something like fall colors, halloween related, etc...

anyone got any theme suggestions?

and what about due date? middle of december?

Why not just do one thing for the next month. And have a theme like "Harvest". Basically use your imagination to capture this time of year. Things that you see or interpretation. It will allow the photographer to think a little more and be creative on what they do.

Have submissions due by November 20th

yeah just one is fine.
I'd rather do them more often.

Also maybe have it that a person can submit up to 3 different photos of the theme. Seeing there is probally isnt going to be that many people participating that way if there are only three people there are a total of 9 photos for people to look at.

i'm down for this one... i like the harvest theme, since it's specific, yet braod enough for a lot of artistic imagination...

now if i could only get my creative side to shine... lol

how often is more often? bi-weekly?

and yes one topic would be fine might be a little easier...and multiple pics sounds like fun too.

alright lets try harvest due date should be what ? nov.5th?

well if "Harvest/Fall" is the theme by nov 20 you wont have crap for colors by then. Everything is on the ground.

Thats why you shoot now! Pfft, there aint shiat for colors this year anyway unless you are north or west of here by quite a bit.

Just my $.02 but how about telling people to shoot new stuff (within this year anyhow) for "assignments"? The idea is to see new stuff and not archives right?:goof

Theme can be anything. I'll do it if I can get out and take some pictures.

We could do horizon shots? Sunset/rise shots? Just an idea
