;)

Seeing way too many of these in the last year or so...dime a dozen. 24"s? Check. Multiple TV's? Check. Custom interior in leather or ostrich, etc? Check. Stock 305? Check. :). Whatever floats your boat but when stuff is done to get attention and everyone else is doing the same thing....somethings gotta give.

I'll be sooooo shocked if that car gets any bids. I wouldn't be too bad if it werent for the semi truck wheels on it.

Sold for: US $25,000.00

I look at it as a clean 30,000 mile SS. You'll be able to make a decent sum from selling the parts. You wouldn't get your moneys worth, but the car looks really clean.

Especially the trunk.

Car is very clean but I can't believe it actually went for 25k...somethings fishy there. I can see 10-15k maybe. Definately not a 30k original car too....probably 130k, but at this point with all thats been changed it doesn't even matter as nothing is original.

I'll defend it a little....the car isn't bad just the humungo wheel thing that is the big fad at the moment is a bit much. Bring it down with *normal* sized wheels it would be a sharp SS, IMO.

Was at the Wal-Mart in New Berlin and checked the Walgreens without any luck, might try the Greenfield one tomorrow after work. They had a Regal and 2 El Camino SS cars, no Montes. They do have the Revell Donk series Monte SS and Grand Nationals too :loser. At least you can choose to have them look normal as they are 2 in 1's.

I picked up two of the Monte *donks* plus the Revell-Monogram model kit donk MCSS :D. At Greenfield News & Hobby the models are $17 but only $10 and change at Wally Mart.

Can't believe I actually purchased these things....

I just received my Ertl Monte SS I purchased on e-bay and I'm pretty impressed. Only inaccuracies I've seen or heard are the stripes aren't 100% but very close and the body doesn't curve down enough on the sides...but very much worth the $40-60 they cost. I got mine in the burgandy flavor and hope that they come out with more years/interior colors like gray ;).
