I'm just curious if anyone knows how reliable Volvo 850R Wagons are... They have the Turbo 2.3L I5 in 'em...

It's a '96 By the way... If anyone knows of any issues with them, I'd love to know about 'em... :thumbsup

I just picked up a 1994 Volvo 850 Turbo sedan today... actually a pretty sweet car. I need to take care of a boost leak, but other than that it is solid.

I just bought a 99 v70 wagon for the wife and kiddies, black on black turbo awd the works. seems like a great car, fun to drive and pretty quick too. There are a few companys that deal with aftermarket goodies, but they are across the "pond". I really like this car!! The wife wanted a volvo wagon, I think she picked a pretty cool car. But now we have a eurotrash car, but oh wellllll.

Volvos are very good cars. Before my family started driving saabs, we were volvo fans, dont know why the switch but they were great both last forever. The R's are very nice our 98' v70r was very nice and I have a budy with a 850R which is equally as nice. Only downside is auto only in the 850R, that can be taken care of with swaps. Search volvospeed on yahoo and youll get a pretty good forum.
