A few years back a turbo caravan used to show up at GLD. baby blue with woograin, a real looker. Had a GLH 2.2 set up, big intercooler, ran 11's.
One of the cooler sleepers I've ever seen. Don't know what ever happened to it.

prescott, are you sure it was in the 11's? i'm pretty hooked up with the turbo dodge crowd in the area and know a good portion of the vehicles running good numbers... the video is the quickest e.t. to date for a minivan, and if it was a baby blue one... that's probably my buddy paul smith...

2.5l turbo with his best being 12.6's nice little sleepers though...

or there's a "mystery machine" out there that i didn't know of... interesting...

this was quite a while ago, maybe 6-8 years.
it was really high in the back(stiff springs?)
guy would drive to the track, unload all his crap.
lawn chairs, coolers, baby seats, whole mountian of stuff.
then make time runs.
I think it had IL plates.
I might have some old video of it, I'll try to look.
pretty sure it ran high 11s, but my memory could be failling from all the weed.

If I had one of those, I would pull into a gas station, ask the guy next to me "does the 93 octane really help?". Then put like 5 bucks in it, fire it up and take off smoking the tires like crazy. Come back right away and tell him "wow, it really does make a difference".:rolf :rolf
