I have a 06 WRX with 3" turbo back exhaust, K&N drop in and a Cobb AP.

I was thinking about running a 50 shot. does anyone out there know how safe this is?

Thanks for you help in advance.

Subaru engines and nitrous usually end up with a new engine very fast. It can be done. Alot depends on how often you use it, and if you are tuned or not.

Personally, it would be one of the VERY last mods I would consider doing. Do tou have any sort of tuning? What about gauges?

I have the cobb tuning accessport wich is a tuner.

Yeah. I would avoid running nitrous with an over the shelf map from Cobb. I would REALLY get some gauges before going much further in power (boost, EGT, and Oil Temp/Pressure...maybe even a wideband o2). I would take the money for nitrous and put it to a cudtom tune w/Alcy injection possibly. But that would still be after gauges. The other thing is that the stock re92 tires SUCK. They really need to be gone if they are still around.

it can be used very effectively but not really useful in your situation. To be safe with it you'd need a standalone of some sort and a good knowledge of how it works ect.

if you really want more info on it... just ask. i can go into a lot more detail!

nitrous is not what you want....what mods do you have on the car currently? YOu would be better off going to a bigger turbo, like an 18G before you slap nitrous on the car.

I have 3" turbo back, K&N drop in and the AccessPort.

And yaeh the tires were the first thing I got rid of. I put on the hancook rs2
wich are really good made a huge difference.

you need to start looking at turbo upgrades then...I'd suggest deadbolt turbos. Very good customer service and they are GREAT at helping you pick the right combo to suit your goals.

I'd suggest an 18G...injectors and a pump and then get a protune at P&L.

it should read, "pray while you spray."

i agree with the people above. best bet for now would be going with a new turbo setup. you can always make nitrous work but for the little perfformance you have done i would step-up the turbo first.
