Thanks man!

1.9s 60' isn't that bad for a 240. What type of a rear end is in the thing? How did you like the Neo Gens when they were newer?

got a $30 welded diff! works great. lots of people go against them, but it works wonders. plus im a cheapskate and cant fork out the $900 for cusco or nismo 2-way right now. The neos were ok when they were new. Hooked up somewhat ok on the street. Like them much better now though, no spin at all in 1st; when i get a good launch. hah

yea, i dont think this one is going to break unless im putting out like 500hp. its welded everywhere it can be.

oh and its a sr. just have a clutch, ras, boost controller, gauge, rims and a drop. other then that, its all stock.

and thanks for the compliments!

I will agree. The one that I had setup was done with little knowledge of rear diffs and what should and shouldnt be welded. I have a welded front and rear in my truck and they hold up to ALOT!:headbang

10-06-2006, 12:28 PM
yea, its welded on every spider and on the sides of them. done by a guy in waukegan that welds for a living so im hoping it will hold up. but next year ill have slicks and im sure something else will break.

Thanks Bee. heard alot about your shop. Have some friends that work for Extreme Parts in Racine and some from Speedquest. The bigger shops around this area.

esthirteen
10-07-2006, 12:57 PM
yes, there does need to be more nissans if there is only 3 sr20's on here!

yea, ive done some researching about it. i think im going with the .63 and boost should be hit by 4200. supposedly, but who knows. i was debating on the forced performance big28 too, but i think im set on the gt30. heard anything about the big28?

10-07-2006, 01:00 PM
Heh.....I will sell you my gt25/40 .86 ar........Full boost at 4300.

If you want to spend the cash, do the internals, otherwise you are not going to get the full potential out of ANY BIG turbo.

esthirteen
10-07-2006, 01:01 PM
yea, but i can safely make more then 300 with that turbo without any internals at all.

nismodave
10-07-2006, 01:04 PM
If 300 is your goal.....2871 is the way to go.

Bottom mount, if you want to stay that way, cheap, and spools quickly.

What u want to do drag, auto x, street cruiser, drift?

esthirteen
10-07-2006, 01:20 PM
nah, 300 isnt my goal. i want to hit 350 for now and do little things during next season, then eventually next season go over 400, but i dont want to spend money on a small turbo, then go for a bigger turbo later. drag, street, drift all in one. big turbo for drift but it will work.

oh yea, any pics on here of your car or anything?

nismodave
10-07-2006, 01:29 PM
400 starts to be a pain. Trust me I know......Trannys first of all.

Headwork is going to be critical, Different HG and such.

Engine management? Whats the plan?

Please dont slap a HUGE turbo on it and Boost the piss out of it. Take your time and get the right parts.

Here is a pic....http://photos.freshalloy.com/gallery/d/3285-2/AprilImportWars2006+020.jpg

esthirteen
10-07-2006, 02:13 PM
i do know what im doing, i mean i havent done it hugely before, but i think i know pretty well. i have found that with 400hp you can use the stock hg, but its highly recommended to get a different one, which i will be doing. engine management is probably going to be enthalpy tune or else PFC with a good tune from a friend around here. Id prolly use that turbo i said and do about 19-20 psi the way it is. not alot, but enough.

nismodave
10-07-2006, 05:54 PM
Do a HG at least...Enthalpy tunes are good, I have one.

Good Luck!!!!

Too much to list.

The car is down right now due to a crappy GREDDY parts....Springs and HG. Broke a spring, HG started leaking.:fire

But car had made close to 400 at the wheels @17 psi.
