Do they tech the cars for the wheelie contest?
Seeing mine is a streetcar, I don't have a cage.

I am going for the 3rd or 4th year in a row. I think I post about this every year and nobody seems interested! It kicks ass and is absolutely worth the $25 entry fee. I have never seen something so crowd pleasing and dangerous in my life.

Scotty I got $100 that says you don't run your car in the contest!! :)

The shitty part about this event is the parking... it takes up to 2 hours to leave the parking lot on a Sunday night :( http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/turd.gif

Where do you guys like to sit? I'm usually on the grass "hill" on the West side of the track, just South of the end of the stands.

they have racing all day long, and it pretty much the last big race in our area,so guys are really turning the cars up.makes for fast times,as well as big bangs.
in the past i think there are 10-20 cars in the wheelie contest(not quite sure of exact count)that was only a $10k purse.Im pretty sure it has been stepped up to a $25k purse this year.
carnage is guaraunteed.

Im very tempted to go.. Cookout and spectate, But still gotta think is it worth a $25-$30 Entrance fee?

We used to have a service manager that does this every year.. couple years he has won it.. and one year he rolled his firebird. His name is Jerry Sipe if anyone recognizes it
