kuzno (sp?) has a 6.0 motor for 1600 with 30,000 miles on it the number is 1-800-642-2550 x 314 a guy at work told me about it so if someone needs this its just the motor though came out a wreck obviously:thumbsup

yeah but what good would a complete LS2 do for me, when all I gotta do is clean up my crank and put it back together??

maybe I can convince nicole to make a halfbreed and put an LS2 in the mustang.
finally a mustang w/ power w/out 32 valves or a blower.

thats a damn good price though.

I just called about this. The guy who was at that extension didn't know about it. Do you have any other info? What car it came out of, a stock number or anything?
Thanks,
Kory

So it's probably an lq4? I thought that was mighty cheap for an ls2.
Thanks for the heads up anyway, you never know what you miss if you don't check these things out.

LQ9 is iron, i thought the LQ4 was aluminum

both the LQ9 and LQ4 blocks are iron for the 6.0 blocks.

the LS2 will be the aluminum blocks.

if it's an iron block motor and it's complete longblock, it's worth about half of what he's asking.

What's the difference in LQ4 and LQ9s if they're both 6 litre iron blocks?

the LQ9 is the higher horsepower 6.0L found in the Escalades compared to the 2500HD gm trucks.

it's basically just a bit more compression, nothing else is different if memory serves me

Hmm, well in that case i guess it wouldnt matter which block/motor i get cause regardless pistons would be changed
